Holy Week leading into Easter is one of the most special times in the life of our church, as we follow Jesus through his last days, death and resurrection. We invite you to join us in worship, prayer, and community this Holy Week.
We will distribute and bless the palms as part of our worship liturgy beginning outside at the cross. Director of Music Matt Mauro is organizing special horn music for the 9:30 worship service.
Pastor Nicole will lead a special contemplative worship service focused on Mary Magdalene. The worship service will begin at 7 p.m. and will be livestreamed.
Tenebrae worship service will begin at 8 p.m. The Passion according to St. John will be read as lights and candles are gradually extinguished in memory of our Lord’s suffering and death. A choir anthem will be offered.
Our traditional Easter sunrise service will be held in the Memorial Garden behind the church building beginning at 7:10 a.m. Our Easter celebration worship service will be at 9:30 a.m. The sanctuary will be decorated with Easter flowers in the spirit of “Alleluia!”
Both Easter services will be followed by a light continental breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. (i.e. Yogurt, fruit, pastries, coffee and juices.) Please join us for conversation and celebration.
